It's a system issue. The IT folks just can't get it to work. We just don't have the systems personnel to publish the bid. It's due to limited system resources.
It's like a real-time reserve list, real-time trip trading, publishing the bidpack, automatic pay for irregularities, etc. Same excuse for everything.
They can tell you where a package is instantly anywhere on the globe, but they can't make anything that involves the pilot group and computers work correctly and on time. Just a matter of priorities.
I know this was a completely digressive rant, but I was expecting a company message with one of the above excuses. It seems to happen with almost everything these days.
