Tiltons Plan (in my opinion):
Make United "unite" the regional airlines to handle all domestic flying. Eliminate as many A320/A319s, 747s, 757s, 767s and 777s (737s already gone). Make the regionals compete against each other and drop the price of a ticket even farther while remaining as a Star Alliance member. United will be the first major legacy airline without actual planes or pilots.
