As for the actions of the present MEC regarding their attempts to toss the senior 20% of the membership under a bus so they could lift their wallets, agreed...but we should recognize these were the actions of a few even though popularly supported.
If 2/3's of the membership have little faith in Eagle ALPA, then what are they willing to do about it?....besides ***** and moan that is.
Who said it is different for captains ?
It's a nice clean statement to say 4% do the work and the rest simply "whine", but that's not true. What is true is that if one looks at the voting as a litmus, the overwhelming percentage of pilots apparently don't care and that's one reson that allows a few key players of that 4% to do the bus tossing.
My comments weren't about solutions, but current reality. Apparently others as evidenced here refuse to accept this reality and thus the cycle continues.
