I hate to burst your bubble, but "Thai massage" is code for a Thai Massage, which is a very unique massage technique. I've had many a Thai massage and always came away feeling relaxed and invigorated. Perhaps you're thinking of a rub and a tug, which is sort of a body to body massage, among other things. Come to think of it, I always felt relaxed and invigorated after those too.
