FWIW the MSA MEC has put out notice that if you lose longevity if you don't accept the mesaba recall. This is FALSE. The company will NOT be "docking" those who are already at 9E/9L. This is the "final recall" so if you want a job, you gotta come back. Those working at 9E/9L will NOT be losing anything. The MSA MEC has spoken in effect of the company, but not the truth. The company will not be paying the added training/retraining expenses for those already on line. There is a good bit of "behind the scenes" politics in play with this little fear campaign. The MOU is clear and those who came back under the MOU will not have a gun to their head.
