I find it sadly amusing that those of us, not more than a few months ago, who were harping loudly on this forum and at work to NOT vote FOR the TA because there are real issues that we have yet to resolve, were being vigorously criticized over our lack of strategic foresight. Now as the ink is almost fully dry, someone is complaining about Deviation Policies and Accepted Fares. This is rich.
Those pompous self serving brethren who played tag team successfully obfuscating some real meaningful desent should be on this thread explaining why those issues insidiously disappeared from our CBA. If that should fail, here is another perspective. Much like the HKG FDA LOA from 4 years ago got railroaded down our throats, only to rear its ugly head demanding upgrades when this TA rolled around because those details turned out to be a little too harsh for those that bid the domicile, "Those provisions must have been good enough or you would have fought harder for improvements."
For the rest of us living in an uncertain realm of reality with regard to Deviating and Accepted Fares, we'll just have to suck it up until next time. But never let it be said that it wasn't brought up prior to the last VOTE.
