Default AW Interview

Hey,

I was wondering what the latest is on the interview process. What are some gotchyas to watch out for?

I have background as a CP and check airman, so I feel confident in my ability to answer technical questions, but I'm worried about my logbook and medical. My logbook is four years out of date, but as of my last entry I have over 4000 hours; I'm working on updating it as best I can with the logs that I have. As far as my medical, I currently have a second class that I obtained last month, but I'm not sure if I can fit in the time to get a first class in the next ten days. I'm pulling 14 hour duty days 6 days a week right now, and I'm trying to not tip off my current employer. If I can't get the medical taken care of, should I just reschedule? I have no medical reason that I can't get the first class, it's just a time constraint right now.

I believe you can get a conditional offer without the first class medical. But ask a recruiter to make sure tho.

They gave me a CJO without my medical. Told me to get it taken care of ASAP.
