China is investing like crazy in its own infrastructure. Are you prepared to do the same?

The title of this thread is Aw or gojet . If I had it to do over again I would choose neither. If I would have went to Envoy or Psa like I started to I’d be at AA right now .

China is also investigating in the US infrastructure....they own half the electric power plants in the US. Are you prepared to start paying your electric bill using Chinese Renminbi? All while your tax dollars are going to China to fund the Democratic special interests.

Kirby has said lots of things but we still don’t have 16,000 pilots, the A350..........

You’re right but all it takes is DL to dump the 50 seater and UA will follow, copy cat league. I think it will take time, but slowly the 200 will die off, most likely not by 2022.

Delta has already announced that all 50 seaters will be gone by 2023. The difference is that they bought the 717 and then the 220, which not only created 100 seat lift for middle markets, but added 76 seat jets for the small ones. Kirby wants more 76 seat jets through scope concessions. He knows that isn’t going to happen, so he’s going to have to decide how he wants to compete against larger and more comfortable jets used by the competition. They’ll pump up the airlines operating the 50 seat jets and promote them as fantastic career paths to United right up to the day that they announce that they are not renewing a contract and retiring a fleet. Your guess is as good as mine as to when that happens.

As long as there are tiny rural markets, there will be small planes that go to them. It remains to be seen if the 175 will be that airplane, but my guess is a couple big airlines +skw will find a way to have Embraer(etc) make an updated 50 seater that passengers like better.
