Has anyone shown up to training with 1,400 TT or 1,450 TT, how much of the bonus do they take out of the sign on?

Republic does that because they pay for you to fly around until you hit ATP mins from there. I don’t think you can show up to class that short. You might get 50 hours in the sim (not sure if that can count or not, been awhile since I looked.). But I hadn’t heard of them giving more hours of sim time to anyone just so they could meet ATP mins.
I went to the AW website and did the “hours calculator” they have. When I took the results of “time left” and added it to my TT the sum was 1,400 and that’s with 50hrs of sim already from a 142 included in the hours I gave. Just trying to figure out if AW does something similar, to Republic, in terms of reducing the sign on and if so by how much is it reduced, because someone has to pay for the additional training right? Ha. 🤷*♂️ |
