Please confirm....CAE based flying starts and/or ends out of IAD or ORD?
This would be good for folks living near IAD or ORD....can anyone post a 4 day trip so we can see how scheduling is doing this (or PM me)?

You’ll start and end your trip in CAE. Your first leg will be operating or a deadhead to IAD or ORD and your last leg will be from IAD/ORD to CAE.

You’ll have a 4:30-6am report day 1 to operate or Deadhead to IAD or ORD and on day 4 your last leg will be an evening departure from ORD or IAD and arrive hours after the last flight out has left CAE. Long story short if you’re excited about CAE, you’d better be a local otherwise it will suck as a commuter big time.

I don’t know what it takes as an FO to be a lineholder at a commutable base (ORD/IAD), but as a CA you need over 11 years seniority to be the bottom line holder at either.
CAE and MKE have schedules that are not friendly to commuters. Hopefully you live within driving distance of either.

The most senior FO Reserve at IAD is an Aug 17 hire. So 13 months from DOH seems to be the cut to hold an FO line at IAD. 11 year for CA line holder seems accurate.
