Default Take home pay first officers

Hey- if I may - 1st year f/o’s may I ask what is your actual take home pay per check if you’re just getting the minimum 75hrs?

It’s almost impossible to answer your question. Very few people get the minimum 75 hours and it also depends on how you fill out your W-4

It also depends on how many hours you are away from base because that can pay you a lot of per diem.

$57,000 in bonus pay plus monthly earnings.

Hard to believe just a few years ago guys were will to do this for under $20k a year with no bonus. Times have changed.

“Get the minimum” as in fly more than the guaranteed 75 or less?

As in fly less than 75 hours. Granted I work a lot extra but I averaged 115 hours of credit a month.

Don’t plan on that though. Budget for min guarantee and if you get extra it’s a bonus. We went from reserves flying 90+ hours a month to next to nothing. It ebbs and flows.

Agreed.

On year 1 pay, in a “normal” month taking home $13-1500

On year 2, $22-2400/mo.

Hard to believe in this time and age, guys would work for for a regional that only has 50 seat jets?
