Average monthly hours

If a FO is wanting to fly as much as possible, how many hours can they realistically expect to fly each month at Air Wisc?

Not sure about others. But I picked up some opentime here and there. I flew 700hrs first year counting all the trainings including ATP-CTP. And broke 1000 around 15-ish months.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, it’s hard to put more than 80-85 hours a month in your logbook. That includes picking up a little overtime on your days off. With deadheads and delays, you can get paid for 90-100 hours on average. The company is slowly and surely bulking up on FO’s, so we’ll see how that affects new hires.

Speaking of bulking up on FOs, are we able to issue new certificates with the government shut down?

I was in training during the last one, if I remember right they can issue temps but the plastic certs aren’t getting processed. So it’ll only be an issue if this keeps going for a few more months.
