Simulators used by AW

Does AW still use the sim in CLT? Any other locations?

Thanks

It's my understanding that training is in a little bit of a mess. New hires waiting around for days even weeks for a sim, using multiple sim locations, rumored sending applicants over seas for sim time. Then once online your hardly flying.

Good to know.

Also re: sim delays. I flew recently with a sim instructor/LCA who said that they are leasing a lot more sim time in 2019. He guessed it was due to the 3rd day that is being added to recurrent but that the amount leased is still higher than that alone would drive so maybe they are adding some capacity to initial?

Re: never flying. I see guys getting lines in CAE and MKE while still on IOE or earlier. And there are a lot of 80-95 hr lines these days. I guess if one got IAD reserve you would be on reserve a while and IAD is well staffed so I could see maybe not getting much time there. But I’d say 90% are not getting IAD.

Also Dec/Jan are the two slowest months of the year. In past years, despite how short we were then, even my block time was down those months. Hard to make judgements on staffing levels right now. I’d like to see what it’s like during the upcoming winter and spring break travel periods.

*you’re

Also, the training being a mess is just a cover. The lizard people we have working in ATW sort new hires by blood type, the guys “sent overseas” are actually the ones that have been selected to have their organs harves....I’ve probably said too much.

Just don’t admit to having AB Neg blood and you should be fine.

We appreciate you’re attention to detail.

Did that make your eye twitch?

Especially calling out someone on a minor error in grammar when you just did the same thing on a post of yours is laughable. Dork. Autocorrect sucks. You're, you are, your, ur yerrrrrrrr just as guilty!
