Accurate background

Happy to report that the background check process is still horribly slow.

Anyone else recently experience it?

How much horrible stuff did you HAVE in your background?

;)

Yep, I started my process in January, just ended. To be fair there was the shutdown that could have slowed things down, but still quite slow!

An Accurate Background employee familiar with the matter told me Airline Pilot backgrounds take 10-15 days. I started process mid-January. NO excuses for any red flags. I haven't heard back, yet.

have you uploaded all the required documents?

That process was a nightmare for me. Took a good 2 months. The background check company kept calling me because I had gaps longer than 6 months in employment. At the time I was 20 years old, and they were asking me why I wasn't employed when I was 11,12,13,etc. Those people are robots. I kept having to call them and ask if they were serious. I had to explain that in my state, 14 is the absolute minimum to be employed with a lot of restrictions. They finally let it go after I sent them my school records. My elementary and middle school records that is.

Yes, I submitted all documents in mid-January. The customer representative put blame on the gov't shutdown. Accurate Background are as determined as a Robert Mueller Russian collusion investigation. HA! I know how Trump feels now.

Honestly, I don't think that would deter a hiring executive. However, a background investigation would be able to ask employers where an incident occurred. I bet investigators do their jobs without bias.
