And here come the defenders. Hey speaking from a few personal experiences. You must study to make through, yes but don’t get sick, or fly Boeing equipment overseas and even though you nailed everything in CPT you get a call wanting you to resign for????? There are other examples but I’m here to warn people to go in with your eyes wide open or don’t go in at all. Hey I liked it, but I had an issue with them that clearly violated the contract and we i and the union tried to resolve it they told us to pound sand. I made onto someones’ fecal list and parted ways with them. Others mileage may vary

A buddy was recently asked to resign because he unsat CPT. That’s cool, except he nailed CPT COLD had his stuff together and yes it shocked us. He flew trip 777’s and needed more experience (you know how that goes with expats) A 15 year Lear jet Captain was also asked to resign or be threatened with termination if he didn’t. Now that guy I observed as part of my CPT and I saw nothing wrong with his CPT.
So that’s all I’m saying. Believe it or not your choice, just be.....cautious

Tough Guy
In certain instances perhaps. But it also depends on what device and the autocorrect feature. Sometimes it has a mind of its own. I wound up on the fecal list for complaining to the union about my particular issue. Like I said great crews, but management there, well it was better to part ways. I wasn’t the only one that had a grievance and was treated like this. Whether you agree or not, and I sincerely hope nothing happens in your career there, I just want people to know what they may experience.

You are correct
Think carefully about that decision. Air Wisconsin is back to doing the stuff they did to people a few years back not that they ever stopped I would say don’t take the bonus and find another employer to go with unless you like low training pay and being washed out of training for no apparent reason there is a lot of shady crap that goes on with that company and they try and scare people not to post on here if you do they will come after you for libel and slander. Oh well.
The people and crews are great to work with but I wouldn’t trust management PERIOD.

It may be a good Choice yet
The original question was considering how a potential change of ownership would affect pilots. It likely would not be a terrible thing, and could be just fine. Maybe a good company would buy it to merge. With current pilot market and economy, the crew and infrastructure that Air Wisconsin has is quite valuable and is very unlikely to be just thrown away.
On the issue of getting through training that has been brought up, could several people who have recently got through five give there insight and maybe some tips on how to be successful?
