There are other examples but I’m here to warn people to go in with your eyes wide open or don’t go in at all. Hey I liked it, but I had an issue with them that clearly violated the contract and we i and the union tried to resolve it they told us to pound sand. I made onto someones’ fecal list and parted ways with them. Others mileage may vary
I wonder how you wound up on the fecal list.

I can see how flying Boeing equipment overseas during training can be grounds for termination. Just a hunch though.

In certain instances perhaps. But it also depends on what device and the autocorrect feature. Sometimes it has a mind of its own. I wound up on the fecal list for complaining to the union about my particular issue. Like I said great crews, but management there, well it was better to part ways. I wasn’t the only one that had a grievance and was treated like this. Whether you agree or not, and I sincerely hope nothing happens in your career there, I just want people to know what they may experience.

A buddy was recently asked to resign because he unsat CPT. That’s cool, except he nailed CPT COLD had his stuff together and yes it shocked us. He flew trip 777’s and needed more experience (you know how that goes with expats) A 15 year Lear jet Captain was also asked to resign or be threatened with termination if he didn’t. Now that guy I observed as part of my CPT and I saw nothing wrong with his CPT.
So that’s all I’m saying. Believe it or not your choice, just be.....cautious

Oh well.

The people and crews are great to work with but I wouldn’t trust management PERIOD.
I was just there everything you say is correct, they wash you out and after you have been sitting at home for weeks, Sure was a waste of my time.

Default It may be a good Choice yet

The original question was considering how a potential change of ownership would affect pilots. It likely would not be a terrible thing, and could be just fine. Maybe a good company would buy it to merge. With current pilot market and economy, the crew and infrastructure that Air Wisconsin has is quite valuable and is very unlikely to be just thrown away.
On the issue of getting through training that has been brought up, could several people who have recently got through five give there insight and maybe some tips on how to be successful?

Show up, have a good attitude, study the systems sections they tell you to study, practice flows, profiles, and callouts with a buddy. Have your flows and profiles down cold before day one of CPT, and practice each night with your partner. Have a good attitude. Make sure you have memory items and limitations cold before sim. Have a good attitude.
