Quote of the Day

Yes, Air Whisky is long overdue. Can we please? Pretty please?

Quote of the Day:

"Deliveries of the new planes are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2020. The new aircraft will replace aging E-175s in United’s fleet of regional aircraft operated by several regional airline vendors, including Skywest, ExpressJet and Air Wisconsin."

I heard from my cousin’s sister’s boyfriend who works on the ramp at MWC, which is just down the road from MKE, that it’s actually part of the growth plan. We’re getting 2:1 brand new E175’s for each of the older E175’s on property.

Air Whiskey cant even staff the airplanes they have. Nothing new is coming on property. For a very long time. Stop having hope.

Nope! Stuck flying those aging CRJ 200’s. It costs way too much money to put another fleet on the property.
If anything ever happens, I could see getting 550’s one day. But those E-175s will go to Skywest and ExpressJet.

Yup. United is scoped out on everything but 50 seaters. This article would imply a one for one swap with carriers already operating the 175. Its got nothing to do with ZW.

This is the Internet, there’s no place for logic or facts. What’s wrong with you?

Hey, you go from a fleet of 65 to 25-30, boom, properly staffed airline, problem solved!

Modern problems require modern solutions...🤣

That training department wouldn’t know what to do with themselves with an airplane with automatic bleeds, packs, anti-ice, throttle, generators etc....

They would make us memorize the logic and then run it manually because the logic can't be trusted.

Probably make one memorize the systems and draw diagrams of it better than the engineers who designed it
