Stuff like that isn’t acceptable. I can see why a new hire would be hesitant to report that, but if that happened during recurrent, I’d hope a line pilot would have the wherewithal to stay calm, ask for the sim to be pulled off legs, get out and call the CP.

He’s back flying the line and no longer in the training department from what I have heard.

I've seen him on the line as well. Seen a few institutionalized sim people flying the line for that matter.

I have flown with him on the line, he is a lot more civilized than some of the lcas who make up rules and policies as they go and don’t follow the black and white of actual policy.

J.B. was only an example. Unfortunately, he isn't an outlier or an exception. My last 3 AQP events were poorly administrated, didn't follow the rules and included at least one threat from the instructor. CnG...with one foot out the door, cooperate 'n graduate.
