The problem… and this applies to any regional… is that things will go from ok to disaster very quickly. Every regional is hiring at Vne just to survive. The first clear sign of trouble that leads to decreased hiring will quickly feed on itself. Can’t staff planes, more applicants bail… game over

Default Interview wait time

Why does United take so long to interview schedules for the Aviate? I applied around December of 2021, I got accepted, and haven’t got an interview date.

I assume you are not an Air Wisconsin pilot. If you are then you should know you won’t have an interview. If you’re not, then I don’t have an answer for you because I only know how it applies to Air Wisconsin pilots.

So apparently the United Aviate academy is having great success. The problem now is that United has all the students with false hopes of where they are going after the academy. All there regional carriers are bleeding pilots leaving for better things, even leaving to other regionals due to them paying on average $40 more a hour. If your considering Aviate RUN ! Don’t drink the kool aid. You’ll end up doing all your training and have no regional carrier to go to and then you’ll end up at American Carrier starting another flow program. The good thing is they will at least give you a # on a list and you know it will be 5 years, unlike the imaginary list that exists at United

Are they not communicating with anyone or just not Air Wisconsin pilots? I’d be very scared if Air Wisconsin pilots are the only ones being left in the dark. I emailed them at least 3 times with zero replies.

the flow at PSA is 8+ years 10 pilots / month and increasing to 16 in a year. The flow for piedmont is 4+ (10 pilots / month), flow for Envoy is 8+ years (20 pilots/month)..

5 year flow is BS that the recruiters tell people, DO NOT believe the 5 year flow.

Hey, I’m a Mesa pilot in Aviate. Just came on here to see what updates are going on for Aviate. Did you all get a list yet? We didn’t at Mesa. I did get an email saying I'm in the 1st Decile of the FIFO list and another email this week saying to update my airline apps for a review within 10 days. There is movement.

Here’s the thing, we are all flying united pax and I’m betting they are not taking Aviate pilots from the regionals dude to not being able to filling spots. It’s like they’re metering us… good luck and hang in there!

There is NO list. Aviate recruiters have said for months they will put one out. They aren’t going to put one out because it does not actually EXIST.

The list exists but for people who interviewed. I personally saw the list and have it but not for opt in folks.

The mesa list has 750 pilots total (it changed though since people left) and they’re still using Decile format. The first group (75 pilots) got the email with their decile at Mesa.

So, someone knows the list but they don’t care to share ir because its years long!
