Trip Cancellation Pay on OE

Scheduling rerouted my LCA (after I showed up to the airport, of course). They canceled the day for me. I start my trip tomorrow.

Question I have is do I still get paid the 8 hours of credit for today?

Yes you get pay protection that’s why if you look at css it says OWP... off with pay.

Prolly not the best idea to post a picture of your schedule as that’s easily searchable. But when you get you pay statement in your read file it will show awarded flying in one column, actual in another. You will get paid the greater of those 2. It won’t show correctly on css if they plan on useing you for one leg. But I would delete the screenshot

I’m curious how it pans out, my gut feeling is with the new contract language about OE this person isn’t actually pay protected until they complete it. FO’s don’t get captain pay on captain OE anymore, until they get signed off, I would guess that the company will try to say FO’s don’t get FO pay (and not long term training pay) until they complete OE

they might, I misread that he had his line pulled for IOE, I guess I should stop multi tasking while I post on here and only half reading 😂. Either way he should still be protected once he starts IOE.

Is it wise for a probationary pilot, or any pilot to post a screenshot of their schedule on a message board?

I didn't realize it was an issue, I've seen it before on other threads. I'm trying to get rid of it but I cannot.

I do not have the option to edit. Mods can this thread be deleted.?

Schedule screenshot deleted. Other posts retained as good advice.

If you aren’t over 75 hours for the month it doesn’t matter anyway.

With FO staffing, I expect reserve to credit 75hrs for near future
