My WAG is they are going to use this time to finally catch up. I’d expect hiring/upgrades to continue full bore until they reach comfortable numbers unless things start looking exceptionally dire. That way when things pick up they aren’t paying double time or cancelling flights.

if they start slowing things down that would be a terrible sign for the industry as a whole because that would communicate to me that they expect that they won’t need proper staffing for all the aircraft we have committed to United.

Are you guys next on the chopping block? It’s not looking good for the smaller regionals at this point, especially those owned by TSH. Are you guys privately owned or does United or someone else own a major share?
