Guys seriously? Chill.

as long as everyone has a job, 50 seater or 500 seater who cares, all of us need to put food on the table for us and our families.

I rest my case. Troll Alert. Irrational. Emotional.

I haven’t wished a single person I’ll will. Your fellow pilot WW seems to think he is above it all and the remaining 40% of United’s flying is going to be on RJs. Take a look at United’s schedule for April and have a look at frequency. A thread was just started here that says you guys just pulled down an additional 10%. TSA got shut down 8 months early......nothing is good about this.

all I’m saying is 50 seaters won’t be immune, WW is delusional.

Like I said, tough pill for the heavy drivers to swallow. There's going to be lots of irrational bitterness and personal attacks forthcoming. The 50-seat market looks strong, very strong, in these conditions. relatively speaking.
I wouldn’t be that confident about much of anything right now. Just looking at loads and empty flights, I’d say that nothing is strong, and nothing is safe. They could decide that light loads should be flown by 50 seat jets, or they could decide to reduce frequency and consolidate the remaining passengers on fewer, but more efficient 70 seat jets. Our customers don’t like the 50 seat jets, but they like frequency. You could possibly be right about the short term future of the 50 seat fleet, or you could have a ringside seat to their early retirement. Your guess is as good as any other. I’m not wishing pain on anyone, but we’re all going to have some while this works itself out.

United cuts 85% of international flying. Domestic flying cuts 45% (10-20% of that for a regional)....who's Delusional? You can't deny the Numbers/FACTS. I've been right every moment of this 'panic' thus far and I haven't resorted to name-calling like you.

Any idea on how many voluntary April time off without pay pilots the company is hoping to get?
I remember they had the opportunity a few years ago and seemed like there were only low single digits each month.
