you must have really good luck. I have tried to swap from one 4day to another with the new one starting one day earlier. Reserve coverage on the day I wanted to pick up was -7, the day that I was swapping out of was +21. It was denied by PG. all things were equal with the exception of the start and finish with me taking a trip that ended up with someone getting junior manned into it.

It really has to be the worst system out of all the pt.121 airlines...I don’t know how anyone else could have it worse. I have no idea how that wasn’t addressed in the latest contract. The fact that people have to wait for a shift change to maybe get some better luck, is not how it should work.

There had to be a reason behind the scenes, or just simply human error. It would’ve cost them more money the way they ended up doing it. I’m not saying it’s not a terrible system, just that it’s probably not some conspiracy.

Unless you really ****ed someone off....

Unless it was going to leave min day in open time that’s not the way the assignment of open time works per our last and current CBA. If you were denied an add simply because they had reserves to fly it you need to file a grievance. Know your contract.

A lot of people want flica live to remove the human aspect from all our add/drop/trade requests however the company sets those parameters.

You will just get an instant denial because those parameters will be set so restrictive.

They always left a min day in open time, it was very hard to break apart a trip like that and *not* leave one or break the trip apart outside of the original domicile (which would require adding a deadhead).

Going to have like 500 some reserves come June for two bases, it will be interesting to see how the company is positioned once the cares act expires in October. It seems like we will have to furlough. What a rollercoaster.

I spent a month worrying and wondering and giving myself an ulcer...realized it won’t change anything. Now I’ll just enjoy spending time at home with my family and have my plan b ready. My anxiety is way down, my beard is glorious, and the bourbon and gin supply is full.

This guy gets it. During my 7 months of reserve I would have killed for a schedule like I have in May. Got my finances in order, now it's time for a summer of golf and fishing.
