Some people had other questions. I myself had a few but still understood the decision. Good to know you didn't have any at all. I'm just unsure what you meant by wanting more transparency and that was my question in the last post.
I really don’t think they have any flying lined up anyway . This is all based on a wish and a prayer that something comes through.
All of this fuss about nothing.
We could be flying 900s in six months or the doors could shut . Could go either way.

I think we are finally in agreement here. Apparently, the company told the arbitrator that they only have a 50/50 shot getting any flying to go with those rates if he gave the company our 200 rates and the ability to negate our contract and make us be qualified/continually tested to fly all three airplanes intermixed as one position. Since he didn't do that, it seems like we won't get any new flying based on managements own argument...

I wish the union had been more forthcoming with the information they received by sharing it immediately instead of issuing an email telling us to hang on another 24 hrs when the arbitration was already final and binding regardless what gripes anyone might have with it. But I respect your point that the reps needed time to process the ruling so when people ask them questions, they know what they're talking about. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers. They're good people and I know it's a tough racket.

We now have 700 documents in content locker. One of those is a safety card that says United Express operated by Air Wisconsin.

Exactly. They aren’t required so why bother? This company is not known for spending time and money on things they don’t need to. They didn’t make those safety cards just for the heck of it.

EDIT: I’m an idiot. You said they ARE required. I read it as NOT required. Point and laugh at the idiot.

I do not have a dog in this fight but coming from a similar situation at xjt I will interject this. You have recently added the 700/900
on your cert. I believe it’s to align you to take the gojet 550’s from a company that has shut down two of their three airlines. The owner is old and wants out, plus his kids do not want anything to do with the airline. The only reason gj didn’t was United wanted them to keep running until they could get someone up and running. Take this info for what you paid for it but AW comes out of this with dumping the 200’s and flying the 550’s and GJ goes the way so compass and TSA.

or AW makes a move, buys GJ on the cheap and everyone gets merged into flying on the AW certificate and the GJ certificate goes away. They save their airline from losing a contract, gain some pilots, and eliminate a competitor, all in one move.
