Ill share more privately. The chaotic nature of this industry during the pandemic is hopefully stabilizing as the vaccines roll out and the risk of spreading the virus dissipates. I welcome further government support to help stabilize jobs and the broader economy.

looks like UA is moving more of our flying to IAD. ORD lost approx 20 4 day trips to IAD from MAR to APR. MKE looks like it’s holding steady at 4 daily departures. This honestly feels like the company is dying and has given up trying to do anything about it. 700/900 stuff was too late to be helpful. Mgmt doesn’t even bother updating us to the status of things anymore, so if they don’t want to inform us, we’re left to fill in the details.

I’m going purely by duty day trips off the preview, IAD went from 110 to 128, and ORD dropped from 428 to 401 4 day trips. Is ORD still bigger? Absolutely. Do a lot of my trips start and end with DH’s to Dulles from Chicago? Also yes. I’m just saying it feels like we are shifting more and more to Dulles. It’s all 550 tails in the F concourse anymore at ORD. Such is the FFD industry I guess.
