Did United extend the agreement with Air Wisconsin, or just reserve the right to extend if they choose to when the contract expires? Last story that I found said that the agreement was good through early 2023 and United could extend for a minimum of something like two more years if they wanted to. Has anything changed? If not, attracting new hires with that hanging over everyone’s heads could be difficult.
Having a contact from United doesn’t guarantee block hours from United. Just ask anyone who used to fly for Expressjet. All the contract does is guarantee the price that United pays AWAC for the block hours flown.

Well you shouldn’t let anonymous posts on a public board sway your career decisions.
Zw is a descent place to work . Does management always have our best interest heart? Of course not , but that’s just reality anywhere you go .
The main thing here is old , tired ac without a definite plan in place going forward. Adding the 7/9 is good , but unless another carrier goes under or they buy someone, there isn’t any room at any of the big 3 for 70 plus Seat ac . So that’s an issue all in it’s own.
Other than that , healthcare is good, schedules are crappy and scheduling will test your temperment more often than not .
Once again , just my opinion.
