GoJet did it, ATW needs to pony up or they can kiss every single new hire goodbye.

I made more money as a CFII than Air Wisconsin starts at. Oh then add the SJS, those 50-seaters don’t rank high in the list. We all saw how bonuses disappeared during Covid (part 1). Needless to say no one in my class even applied at AW or GJ due to the above and UAL announcing 50% or more of their new hires would be POC or Women. That was a great way of steering a large qualified population group away from Aviate.

UAL’s announcement that they are cutting 12 AWAC routes from IAD is writing on the wall that a pay raise isn’t coming.

Completely wrong. United is not hiring 50% women and minorities. They are attempting to recruit for their AVIATE ACADEMY flight school 50% over a ten year period. That will not come anywhere near filling the total needed to be hired.

If you take a look at the last few pics of the UA new hire classes over the last few months , there are very few of each of those groups you mentioned. So I don’t see what all the fuss is about.Looks like 95% white males to me .

If youn meet UA's hiring criteria and want to be there but you're not applying because you're a white heterosexual male you probably wouldn't pass the psych eval.

Don’t worry at least I’ll have seniority and flow above you when AW closes the door and you start over here below me! ERU rocks baby!!!! AW isn’t going to get any new hires to apply once Mesa’s contract rates go up next quarter too. You will be at the bottom of the payscale.
