Pay Rates

In talking to a former colleague at Air Wisconsin, he said they gave the Captains 25% pay raise and upped the bonuses.
He also stated that the pay increases for new FO were minuscule at best.
Any truth to this?

Prior they were at 60/hr for F/O. According to AW’s website they raised F/O’s by $0.90 to $60.90/hr

Are they attracting anyone? Or does those who washout at other airlines come there after being casted off?

They are one of the “few” hiring 1500 CFI’s as F/O’s so yeah that is where everyone is going since AA WO, SkyWest, Republic, & Endeavor has class dates 5-6 months out and/or only hiring DEC’s & High Time F/O’s.

Mesa is a better option .. More pay, better equipment for a jr FO.
Management is about equal at both places in my opinion.
However, at zw as an FO , flying those old worm out 200s, you’ll become an expert in running non normal / emergency checklist . You’ll have most of them memorized in no time 😂😂

I’m certain that some take the job while waiting on a class date and then bolting when it’s time.
Are there still many new hires washing out of training?

Not sure why the announcement about pay rates says industry leading. Looks like still well below most others. Not even close actually.

That's the annual October 1.5% increase that's in the contract.

If management keeps saying it, someone might maybe one day believe it. Thank Nesbitt for the BS contact, as he walked out the door to a better carrier.

Nesbitt negotiated the contact? He's the one that took over for Tim Sommer? What does his job have anything to do with the contract?
