Default Does Air Wisconsin give sim rides to everyone?

Just wondering if AW gives a sim ride to everyone. The reason I ask is that from what I understand you can interview in Appleton, PHL, DCA or ORF. If the interview is anywhere other than Appleton, where do they get the sim? Or am I mistaken on interviews taking place anywhere else than Appleton?

No sim ride when you interview out east...and I'm not even sure they do sim rides these days when you interview in ATW. Gouge on aviationinterviews.com is probably your most accurate information.

Lightbulb AW Training

Thinking of applying for AW, how is the training?

I'd look elsewhere. There are far better regional options around each of their domicile cities.

Sounds like solid advise to look elsewhere, any word IF they will be flying cargo that doesn't sound that bad?

I heard the training department is he toughest in the industry, any truth to this? I was told they hire every one that they interview and just wash out the ones they don't like.

I just learned on this forum the UAL contract is ending in 2022 with no other options on the horizon.

Thanks! i believe you are right that there are better options... moving on.....

Can any current Air Whisky pilots weigh in as to whether there's any truth to this?

It isn’t true. There are obviously people that don’t pass the interview.
