PHL is currently the junior base.
Flying for UA starts in September.
IAD will see the first activity. DCA will be the first closure.
Announced UA flying for Sept and Oct supports their claim re ORD.
If you joined us now you'd probably be ORD out of the gate.
I came from another regional for a host of reasons, zero regrets.
Good Luck!
So if PHL is junior now would it be easy to get it as a new hire or are they gonna be closing down that base after others open?

Don't come to AWA for PHL. By the time you are through training it will be either closed or have very little flying.

PHL will go increasingly senior for FO's (because of the ones that live there) as we get closer to 02/2018.

The guy was complaining about how it only helps "super senior guys" who have more than 3,000 hours with the company. Nearly everyone on property today has that and realistically anyone hired today is going to have at least that before their CPP number comes up.

Think some the "super senior guys" aren't trying to leave too? The guy who's number 13 on the list recently interviewed at SWA.

CPP will cause some movement even if it doesn't help new hires immediately they will get off reserve faster and upgrade faster.

Default Atp ctp

Quick question for those who just gone through training.

Does AWA provide study material for the ATP written? Or do we have to prepare it ourselves? I am wondering if I should bring my ATP Gleim with me. That book is thick!

Thanks ahead.

They pay for the written, but do not provide study prep.

Totally agree. I took my ATP written the last day you could in 2014, started studying two days before and scored in the 80's.

Thanks folks! I have used Sheppard Air before. I'll give them a call later.
I was just wondering if the company will get Sheppard air for us or not. Guess this one will be on my own dime
