Personally, I’m fairly envious of the guys that can afford Gig Harbor. Because of the way I was treated I’m now being forced into a short sale of my home.

I'm not setting low expectations. Most of you rank and file guys don't have a clue how contract negotiations work. You seem to think the Union can just go in and demand what they want.
That was the theory used in the pre-Kasher negotiation. You all know how well that worked out. 20% pay cut for the Captains, 35% pay cut for the F/Os closely followed by a 3 year furlough. I'm all for you guys getting what you deserve. Just pick your battles. Answer your questionnaire. I'll bet you reserve rules take a back seat to just about everything else. |

I’m very familiar thank you. Several bankruptcies, mergers, contracts etc. You are comparing now to Kasher, two completely different times.
Again, I hope you guys get what you deserve. Making headway on reserve rules that effect 10% of the pilot group? Good luck with that. |

The times are indeed different. Alaska management is not. And you can't change that leopard's spots.

10% on the reserve? We wish, try triple that depending on equipment and seat.

If that's true you have a huge staffing problem. Stand by for furloughs.

Hiring 144 this quarter
Angle Lake tends to exaggerate numbers like that when they figure out they need the Instructors on the line EVERY summer. |

Again, hope you're right but then weren't they going to hire 900 a couple years ago?
