Wouldn’t Delta drop them like a hot potato if they flew planes that large? I don’t think Skywest wants to lose their partnership with Delta so they can pick up some 100 seat flying for Alaska.

And United, and American. Horizon is the only one that could conceivably fly them. Scope.
This is correct (I'm not aware of what AA has along these lines). Practically speaking I don't think anyone other than QX could do it. |
https://cdn-vox--cdn-com.cdn.ampproj...-is-fine.0.jpgMEA seriously reminds me of this cartoon.
Several months after being freed from Alaska Airlines internment camp, I can confirm that the grass is greener at other airlines. Update those apps and escape the sinking ship- especially the bus guys and gals.

Internment camp huh?

Forced relocation and incarceration haha, fairly accurate for nyc pilots as you know well!

You realize there is a 737-700max?
Semantics aside and to your point, nobody is really ordering it. It’s a tiny fraction of the total Max orders, and most have been deferred/delayed. The economics of it just aren’t that great. But I suppose if someone is proudly all Boeing and can’t fill a Max 8 on some routes and the incremental lower operating costs of a Max 7 make it work, maybe it would happen. Unless scope isn’t addressed and horizon flies some 190/195s instead. |

No there isn’t. Just like there isn’t a 787-900 or a 747-800. There is a Max 7 though.

Is it just me or is the 700’s performance important for the SE Alaska stuff?

Unless scope isn’t addressed and horizon flies some 190/195s instead. My point, we already have a 124pax airplane. Single fleet can be done very well with a Max 7,8,9,10... all of which AS is exploring. (120 pax to 190pax) Obviously the bigger the jet the lower the CSM, the greater the available RASM... this is a RASM and CSM airline. We don’t need the Bus for the lower end. |
This is second hand, but I believe the person that told me... BM and GB are pushing hard for 30 E2 at horizon. Remember to thank them this holiday season!
