LOL. That makes sense. Now I understand why him and MEA sound the same. I wasted time hammering a has been loser. I'd feel guilty if they weren't such schmucks.

Jetblue has also expressed interest, going so far as to secure secret scope relief from its pilots, if a merger were to happen, in exchange for a no furlough clause and a slush fund, for a possible SLI with Alaska. This is a MEC NDA, it is not quite as credible as the SWA info, but I think it’s legit. This front is stone cold quiet, so I am guessing it is still very much in play.

Where are NWAA, Beanie baby, and AL....
AAL to furlough 2100 this fall and another 1900 in the spring if things don’t turn around. Likely bankruptcy by April of 2021😱. This rumor comes as the gold standard, I have such confidence in its origins that I would bet it every day in Vegas and twice on Sundays. I know, I know, AAL is getting “A lot of negative press about full flights in the news media, maybe you have heard about this.”

Remember these quotes... “AAL and Spirit are running new hire classes while we furlough.”
How do we like Alaska now?
Alaska MEC take your bow
No furloughs, 1100+- leaves, most should be awarded.👍

From a now closed thread containing just 1 of OTZEagle1's many rants...

"SFO and LAX’s LEC are all C’s. Arrogance, anger, loud and obnoxiousness are not qualities of a winning team. Surely there are more skilled players in the shadows. SEA LEC block 5 is just angry, 4 is a good dude, big heart, 6 is the worst kind, thinks he is smart, doesn’t realize he is not and masks with arrogance, 10 ok really. MEC.. W-not a leader but a good guy, J-fun but the wrong guy, G-Maybe the best human being I have met, probably the best leader at the whole company... why is he not the president? S-enough hot air to fly a giant hot air balloon, enough common sense to leave it untethered, NC team... C-smart, really smart... I would put him in the class of, Alaska’s SLI chair BS and M... these dude’s should be negotiating. R- how does that happen, D-good dude smart.

If I were in the bottom 400, I would demand my union field the A-team now!"

Thanks Will and team for the incredible leadership! Never been more proud of the ALPA people.

Not that it makes the overall scenario any more likely, but the QX demographics are nothing like they used to be. Only 25% of the list has more than 5 years seniority now. About 75% were hired in 2016 or later, and a large percentage are at least on the list to move to AS. A staple wouldn't be that much different for a majority of voters.
