My understanding is yes... Things might change, it has been a pretty consistent direction for some time now. I would put the closure of the SFO base at 90% at this very moment.

Keeping both might make sense. But if they kill the Hawaiian brand, I think that will leave a VERY large brand/marketing/name recognition gap that somebody else will fill. Either SWA, etc or a new "Hawaii Airlines" (run by JO, standard mesa turbojet rates for 321NEO and 787).
