It better be a lot higher than 85%

Good luck!

It will pass in the high 90%. It’s also largely meaningless and just part of the Kabuki Theatre that is the Mediation process. It will make the local news though…and confuse the general public into thinking we’re on strike. FWIW.

Well of COURSE you think it’s meaningless and all Kabuki Theater! You’ve made it clear that while you’ve “always voted no” on every contract, (really makin a difference there) outside of that, your contract at Alaska is just part of your larger portfolio of real estate and paper investments, that discussing job dissatisfaction out loud is kinda whiney and petulant, and that it’s ok when chief pilots send intimidating emails when a pilot exercises their contractual rights in a manner that’s inconvenient for management.

While a 👍🏻 strike vote from you would be appreciated, I don’t think anybody paying attention expects it. Two CP positions open right now if ya have some spare time though.

That is really all it does…KIRO, KING, and KOMO candy. Just makes AS management look bad, which at this point isn’t hard. They are honestly, just plain terrible… BM and CM have to go. It is beyond comprehension that they hold their current positions, they deficient and derelict at everything they touch… an absolute train wreck. At the end of summer we are going to hear, “we would like to apologize, we should have seen this coming”, and that will suppose to mean something. This summer is going to be a disaster and they will pretend surprised… great leaders, “where do we find such men.” How does the rest of corporate America define incompetence 🤔.

The strike vote is nonsense until we actually get released. It should be a 98% for authorization.

Shareholders should question what appears to be a lack of involvement and oversight by the BOD. BT resigns from what should have been exactly the job he wanted... the operation goes to sh*t, yet crickets from the new CEO.

Train wreck it is. From the top down.

They had a chance to yesterday on the investor call but they didn’t. That being said. BM is pretty good at half truths.

What sounds like a mea culpa of a momentary training pipeline miscalculation, never mentions that if we didn’t have record attrition and a settled contract we probably could cover the previous planned flying.

I’m really starting to like you lately.. you’re absolutely right

Kabuki theater is part of the process, and not a bad thing... management is intransigent so the boat must be rocked. I don't know enough to comment on the timing, but the vote had to happen *eventually* anyway so presumably the union had a good reason to call it now vice later.

If they wait until release, the impact of the strike vote will be intermingled with the news about the release... this way they get some early but reasonably timely press.

See above, there's a reason they're doing it even if we're not sure exactly why now.

And who knows, the board might become worried and demand another executive head. BoD's can a sometimes appease The Street by axing a key exec or two.
