Senior Flight Instructor Simulator

AKA non-seniority list instructors

Are these positions governed by your CBA, or by some other agreement?

Instructors are not covered under our CBA at all.

Not exactly correct. The vast majority of instructors are line pilots that are covered under the CBA, and there are MOUs approved by both parties to bridge some gaps to cover instructors in the eyes of ALPA.

Not exactly correct. The OP asked about non-seniority instructors. They are not covered by the CBA.
What are these MOUs that you speak of?

Non-seniority instructors are covered under Section 11.J of the CBA, Management Flight Instructor Simulator (MFIS)

What does this position pay, to start and top end? You can PM if preferred. Thanks!

Our CBA is very thin when discussing these positions and it makes no mention of pay rates. I’ll try to find out and post here if and when I get any info.
