Alaska has 4 domiciles right?
How many crews in each of those?
Is there a definite difference between schedules and flying between SEA and PDX or are they pretty much the same? Any base considered to be "senior" or more/less desirable?

With the hiring window now officially closed for everyone except Horizon pilots, do calls/emails for an interview invite go out relatively quickly or does Alaska like to keep the pace of interviews to a comfortable level meaning calls to interview come in intervals long after the window has closed?

When I interviewed the calls went out 1 week prior to the interview. I'm not sure if it's still the same.

But seniority is very similar in the two bases. Flying lines are about the same, except SEA is almost 4x the size, so about 4x the junk

The fences are going to be so high no VX guys will be based is SEA or PDX for at least 8 years from right now, it honestly could even be longer. This will also be true for any AS guys in SFO on the bus.

Company wants a 5 year equipment lock. You have been here a while. What the company wants the company gets. If we blow the doors off this merger we might be voting on a JCBA next summer. SLI if we had our hair on fire would be done first of the year 2018. That wide open range would then be open 2023...maybe. Union feels only 3 bases would need protection or a fence; SFO, SEA, PDX. From all of the legal and historical context gathered to this point a 10 year fence would probably be the most likely. If the optimistic time line above is achieved, that has those three domiciles fenced to 2028... Cheers
