Unfortunately the growth they are talking about is in seats, larger 737, and EMB-175, not a lot of planned airframes increased at mainline. The effect is not a lot of crew growth just seats.

I know. It's really pathetic if you think about it. This merger has a lot of potential but Alaska's outdated mindset will prevent them from going out there and being a player in the industry. It's no wonder why Delta owns SeaTac now.

Delta owns SeaTac? Really... is this some angry tirade or maybe just venting? Maybe 10 years from now maybe never but if you think that is true today, well it just shows you are not looking at any facts and basing your reality on I am guessing emotion. Everyone wants a pay raise, everyone wants real growth. I think we are all gonna be ok.
