Alaska Scope

Looking forward to joining the Alaska family. Seems like a great group of pilots. Beyond the info on APC I don't know much about your contract. I read about the order of E175s today and am curiuos what the scope limitations are.
Thanks

Very little.
Any 737's that were already ordered as of the date of signing the contract in 2013 will be flown by pilots on the Alaska Airlines seniority list. Any other models, or any 737's ordered after that date, can be flown by anyone without limitation.

So you are telling me I can go fly one of the 737-900s they just took delivery of without limitations? That is awesome, headed to SeaTac now!

Not really......We still have 737's being delivered from that order date:....But when it runs its course, Alaska may operate another airline with 737's without merging

Yeah... that's going to need to change...

It must be horrible going through life with your glass always empty. Not half empty, but empty! Too bad you can't turn into positive energy all that negative energy you exert on this board dissing and hating your employeer, because if you did, I think you'd be amazed at what you were able to accomplish, not to mention all the time available for yourself you would suddenly find.

Good luck with that!

To what end? Does AAG want 4 different airlines? Alaska, Horizon, Virgin, and the other guys.
