Best path to a job at Alaska
So from what is known so far and the changing environment for a beginning pilots path. What is the best path(quickest route) to getting a call for a interview and a seniority number at Alaska?

Network, meet management pilots at fairs and show up to things like Aviation Day in Seattle. I've seen guys come to careers fairs up to 5 times before getting the call. You got to show them you want it. Unfortunately, by the time you do all this and Alaska actually takes a look at you, you'll probably have a call by Delta or United

Getting hired at Virgin America
So Alaska's tue flow program is thru Virgin? Otherwise it's just truly having the desire to work there and showing up at recruiting events, hoping for some reason they like you? Flying in the Bush doesn't help, military time gets no extra preference or overall type of flight time or where you get it from doesn't matter? So really I need to go start another thread somewhere else, what's it take to get a call and seniority number from Virgin? |

It seems that UND grads and Great Lakers have a good bit of luck with Alaska. Just an observation from the outside.
