Bose headset
Where does Alaska get the Bose headsets they're using? The A20 I have is a little clunky. I like the looks of the ones I've seen when jump seating on Alaska but can't find them online.

The QC-15 has been discontinued but many CostCo's still have them.

So you're using QC-15's with add on mics?
We get a discount from Bose on the A20. Price is somewhere around $975. I think UFlyMike is changing their product. Thankfully the last pilot I knew who used an earspike retired earlier this year. |

This headset works with the QC15 and the new QC25. |

Now I use A-20's and although they aren't quite as comfortable as the QC-15 setup, the noise cancellation is FAR superior. Having used both, i drive to work and usually do trans-cons & West coast-Hawaii I much prefer the A-20s for durability and noise reduction. If I were commuting still, I would go for the QC-15/ufly setup so that I would have one headset for riding in the front or the back. |
