How do you know what is in the TPA? No details have been sent out yet... At least on the Alaska side...

He haven't been told anything formally either, so none of the pilot ranks knows what is in the TPA yet.

Curious what's the time frame looking like for your TPA?

I am kind of slow and just skipped over the TPA, but the negotiations begin within 31 days. Then there is 90 days to hash out the JCBA, if not it goes to an arbitrator. The arbitrator then has 30 days to figure it out. So just call it end of January that negotiations begin, add 90 days, that's end of April JCBA should be completed. If it goes to an arbitrator, add 30 days, that's end of May for a decision. Then goes to a vote. Is that the way everybody else read the timeline?

I haven't read your TPA, but generally if something goes to an arbitator/arbitration, then there is NO vote of approval by the union.

If something goes to a mediator, then the union usually has a chance to say Yes/no.

Clock should Start at Feb 1st
120 days = May 31st
Mediation impass (mediator decides)
Probably 90 days max Aug 29th
60 days arbitration + 5 for arguments
Nov 2nd
Arbitration ruling
Probably late December

That is just a guess of the maximum length of the TPA timeline should the company want
