Have there been any recent rumors about BLV becoming a base?
They have quite a few flights these days (actually had more passengers in October 20 than 19) and for the first time I noticed they won't have a straight from a base and back route. They have PIE-BLV-CHS-BLV-PIE (might not have been PIE but you get the picture) routing this summer.
They also are going thru a terminal expansion.
I figure it has to be getting close to being considered.
Just curious.

So much wrong info. OAK has been closed for a while. We are not hiring any time soon. There is a pool, and we are just recalling furloughs. Training is disorganized and inefficient, but there is a very low washout rate. I believe it is probably your fault if you wash out at G4. No AQP. It is being worked on, but the union and the company are not agreeing on implementation issues.

BLV was a persistent rumor prior to COVID. I suspect it will be near the top of the list if/when we resume opening bases next year.

Wouldn't surprise me. Anything in the middle of the country where we have a lot of turns from multiple bases seems to be a contender. Bonus if it's a place nobody wants to live. BLV, RFD, ATW, FNT, LCK, JQF, RDU, MEM all make that list.

On March 4, 2020, Allegiant announced Concord will be the airline's 21st operating base, housing 2 Airbus planes beginning October 7, 2020.
