The highlight of the article is “the plane landed safely and the crew reported it to be smooth.” Which means they were never near any danger at all as they were above most of it. But the article talks about storm chasers flying through it at 10,000 ft and flying at 200 to avoid breaking apart. Sounds like another shot at G4 with manipulative fake news tactics. Nothing to see here.

The same can’t be said about he decision to overfly a hurricane (you’re not there yet) and your options are greatly reduced if things go downhill while over it.

You realize driftdown is calculated for every flight? It's even on the first page of our release lol. I would also venture to guess, that data is near the first page of the release for every airline in the U.S.

Driftdown INTO the storm from the top, numbnuts. Not a terrain issue in this case.
