Default G4CE Family Fun Center......What???

What??? Maybe future upgrade path is arcade operator, then Go Karts, the Sunseeker front desk, then right seat AND THEN left seat!

ALLEGIANT TO PILOT EXPANDED LEISURE OFFERINGS FOR CUSTOMERS WITH G4CE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

G4 Complete Entertainment (G4CE) Locations to Feature Affordable Fun, from Laser Tag to Arcade Games and Fast Casual Dining; Pilot Locations in Clearfield, Utah and
Warren, Michigan Set to Open in Late 2018 & Early 2019

LAS VEGAS. September 19, 2018 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces a pilot program aimed at expanding its leisure offerings to customers in their home neighborhoods by launching the first G4 Complete Entertainment (G4CE) family entertainment centers in Clearfield, Utah and Warren, Michigan. G4CE (pronounced “G-force”) locations will feature the latest in family fun for all ages, from go-karts, laser tag and virtual reality simulators to full-featured arcades, mini golf, bowling and fast casual dining. The initiative aims to enhance and expand Allegiant’s focus on value-conscious leisure entertainment for its customers – whether that means traveling on vacation, or simply a family night out in the neighborhood.

Two of the pilot G4CE outlets are currently under construction in Clearfield, Utah (Ogden air service area) and Warren, Michigan (Flint air service area), slated to open in late 2018 and early 2019. The initiative capitalizes on space formerly occupied by “big box” retail outlets, bringing innovative redesign to neighborhoods currently lacking diverse options for family entertainment. Allegiant is currently evaluating other locations for potential future growth.

“With a focus on family entertainment that’s affordable, fun and creates lasting memories, we believe G4CE will prove to be a great addition to Allegiant’s leisure portfolio.” said Maurice J. Gallagher, Jr., Allegiant chairman and chief executive officer. “Providing unique recreational opportunities for our customers in their hometown complements the vacation-focused offerings that have been Allegiant’s hallmark. At the same time, it’s an opportunity to introduce G4CE customers to the airline, building ‘staycations’ into future vacations."

With a unique-to-the-industry model of transporting leisure travelers from underserved markets to premier vacation destinations, Allegiant Air carries hundreds of thousands of families each year. But at the same time, leisure fliers tend to travel far less often than the business travelers primarily courted by other airlines. Having G4CE locations in home communities will provide more opportunities for Allegiant to engage regularly with customers, and at the same time bring airline synergies benefitting G4CE patrons – including special travel promotions and opportunities to earn and redeem points via the Allegiant World MasterCard.

Travel industry insiders will recognize that the name G4CE is drawn from Allegiant’s airline code, G4. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) assigns two-character codes to designate each of the world’s airlines.

Finally our management sets their eyes on the prize! While we're focused on go karts and video games, our competition (Spirit) announces new routed out of Jacksonville. Clearly Spirit is short sighted in not seeing the amazing value in go karts. Instead Spirit continues to focus on lame stuff, like flying airplanes.

Family Fun Centers! Yet another thing to distract management. It's almost like Allegiant Travel Company doesn't want to be in the airline business anymore.

Clearfield UT is BFE even by Utah standards, and Warren Michigan is the hood Eminem made famous in 8 Mile. Perfect locations to introduce and build your brand. Who is running this place now? Are they intentionally trying to tank the company. Those of you here for the long term better start paying attention.

Allegiant is pleased to announce that they will not be wasting money on new aircraft. We will instead focus our resources on Lazer tag, bowling alleys and hotdog stands. This new venture is sure to be a money making winner.

When it comes to family fun centers I've just got to SMH. I will say this though, Clearfield UT isn't BFE, its essentially Ogden: one of the biggest metro areas in the state that is seamless geographically with SLC and PVU.

If we really want to waste time and money, I would rather see Maury team up with his CEO buddy Rob Katz and start seeing "Snowseekers" at already developed vail resort holdings across the country... thats where they money is at. Just look at Bloomberg's list of richest small towns in America:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...n-wealth-index

Its essentially a list of the best ski towns in the US, i do not know why we waste our time with beaches

For an added level of rumor mongering:http://www.vailresorts.com/Corp/info...directors.aspx

Maybe I'm wrong, but i always thought that the kind of people who hang out in Aspen and Vail own their own private jets, or at least have access to one. Allegiant is a beach (and Vegas) airline because that's what we are good at, and that's what our clientele wants. I think this management group's biggest mistake is trying to be something we're not instead of being really good at what we are. Bigger and better companies have gone TU for mismanagement like this. Reminds me of when TWA bought Hilton Hotels and Century 21. That was the beginning of the end.

Don’t forget the 28+ routes announced last month by Spirit, from MCO, to all over the Caribbean and Central/Latin America.

Way to get on it guys. Really. Super outstanding work.

Everyday people, when it comes to money, have two lists. Wants and Needs.

This clearly isn’t a need at all. No way in hell. You NEED to focus on finishing this transition and making international flying a reality (which they always claim). Years down the road sure if you WANT to do this, fine.

The airline still needs attention and support. Have things gotten better? Absolutely. Do we still have a long way to go? Absolutely. You don’t need an MBA to understand this. Why they are blowing money on this venture, at this time, is completely stupid.

They can easily do this 1,2,3 or 5 years from now. Today is not the time with other needs still to be fulfilled.

Just read through the last investor presentation. All Sunseeker info, nothing pertaining to the airline. Seems backwards to put all your efforts into things that aren't currently generating any revenue, and completely neglect your bread and butter. Then again, we've always been great at stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.

I'm surprised you guys are surprised! This is 100% in line with the company's vision: vacation/entertainment packages. We are running out of domestic destinations so we have to start creating them. Central America would be another option but either they don't want the headache or they're just too scared of the competition, who is already ahead of us.
It's risky but it's a sign of growth intentions, which is good. Problem is the airline side has to slow down to the entertainment development pace.
