I read it as they are announcing internally first before a general announcement as a courtesy to flight crews. Otherwise you find out information about the company in the news like everyone else does. If they wanted it kept confidential they would have said so.

Burst your bubble
Live PGD area and own a 5 series BMW! No Buick’s in this household, both German cousins bed down in the garage. If it keeps people from bidding PGD average age here is 85 years old, night life includes bingo and line dancing for seniors. The biggest thing to hit ring surveillance at night are bob cats roaming.
