it is most definitely not 10%. It has been completely revamped into a performance based bonus that is also tied into profit sharing. We met every metric this time and had some of the highest profit margins that we have seen and it is about 7.5% of our income. The last round, we only hit half the metrics, and it was less than 3%. I certainly would not count that as a planned part of your income.

You will be on base guarantee through training (with no per diem). Plan on 3 months of that. It could be slightly more or slightly less. After that it depends on weather you are hanging onto reserve or can hold a line. Like you said base guarantee is about $48k. Reserve guarantee is 72 hours. That’s another $114 a month. If you somehow wound up as the senior FO in a new base, and were able to hold a good line, and you could credit 100 hours a month for the rest of the year, that’s about another $17k. That would make the first year range somewhere between about $50k and $65k. If you are the junior guy in a senior base and are not hustling, expect the $50k. If all the stars align and you are killing it, then you can get closer to the $65k.

Aerocrew has a post on FB that says “Allegiant is in the process of hiring 100 pilots between now and November!
- First Year: 57/hr
- Second Year: 101/hr
- Max Captain: 227/hr
Flights are a mix of day turns and 2-3 day trips.”
This is the first I’ve heard of 2-3 day trips at Allegiant. Can any of you provide some insight into the percentages of overnights? Thanks.
