Calling Any SAV Pilot
I'm living in the Savannah area and Allegiant is on my list of airlines applied to. I'm currently at a regional building time (prior low time fighter guy that took a long break from flying). I'm wondering if there is a member of the forum working at Allegiant in SAV that would be willing to sit and chat about life at the airline. On the other hand, would I be out of place if I stopped by the Allegiant chief pilot office at SAV to chat?

Can’t speak as to if any of the SAV locals are on here or not, but, all of our Chief Pilots cover multiple bases. So if you stop by you may just find an admin, and no CP. They come and go on occasion, but the CP Meet and Greets are a bit for formal and your guaranteed that they will be there, if you can make it to one.

Life in SAV is pretty much the same as you'll read about in the other bases. It's mostly 4 leg trips there. Very junior. Probably so junior, that you might end up on reserve for a while since the base never fills up, and the TDY pilots will all be senior to you. But if you live in base, being on rsv is a nice gig, working a few times per month.

What about Vegas? In the October 7 class. How’s vegas looking? Currently live there. I’m all for paying my dues and being patient but just wondering how long to hold LAS. THX

Most junior LAS FO was in the 8/19 class. There are 4 waiting in line not counting bids from the 9/23 class. Not sure how long that would take but a lot also depends on IWA movement since quite a few in LAS are waiting for that base. Good luck on the bid and welcome.
