Default Allegiant Interview

I submitted my application and had a buddy drop off my resume the next day. I was sent a link the following day for the personality profile (similar to the Hogan for United I think). Two days later, I get the congrats email and the link for the video interview. Very straight forward video; 5 questions, impossible to mess it up. 2 days later I got the TBNT email. I can't help wonder what the problem was, but I'll try again in 6 months!

A possibility might be that they’ve already filled the classes for beginning of next year with plans to hire again in the fall so they might just be kicking the can down the road...not sure

Just received my face to face request today. I am just looking for any updates to a gouge or what to expect that differs or is more current from the other threads.

Very excited as I live in Iowa, and it appears that DSM should be easy enough for a new hire FO.

When I completed the first assessment they send you after you apply, I never got a complete message or anything. It just went away and the Allegiant Community page popped up. I'm not sure if it went through. Did that happen with anyone else?

For what it’s worth, I just interviewed on Wednesday. I thought the interview was exceptionally professional, and Ernie is one of the best in the business. I think that they do a good job of being straightforward in the interview, and they don’t try to sell you smoke and mirrors. I thought the questions were very fair, and mainly scenario-based. It was not some crazy witchhunt trying to throw you off with all sorts of trick questions or anything. They are looking for a quality people That they can mold into great captains. This is definitely a niche job, but if it fits your lifestyle, it’s probably a great job.
All three of us in my interview session were offered the job, and placed into a pool. They don’t have a hard date or even a guess yet, but it sounded like they were thinking before summer.

They've sent an update this morning: we hired a total of 195 pilots in the last 10 classes, from Aug 19 til now. Considering we just hit our 1000th pilot in the very last class, that's pretty good.
Hiring is expected to pick up again late summer/early fall. More accurate info expected in April/May.
