Hiring Pool Delays?

I don't think it has been "officially" suspended, but if the CEO is taking a 100% pay cut, the officers are taking a 50% pay cut, and April/May schedules are being "consolidated" by 15%(any possibly up to 35%), I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say that they aren't going to be bringing anyone else on property until this blows over.

The low utilization model gave them an advantage at first, but as the cuts deepen, it's gonna hurt for everyone. Got a pool email update today. Basically says to standby... Once this mellows out and they can reassess everything, they will look at starting classes back up. Basically, nothing to report, but they haven't forgotten about us.

It doesn't cost as much to not fly a plane for Allegiant as it does compared to Spirit. That's the gist.

Lowest CASM in the industry since 90% of the fleet was purchased used and a large chunk are fully paid off. Cheaper to park vs brand new 100 million dollar per airbus lease payments.
