Default Investor call,

Shorty after JB left, during a town hall someone lamented his departure and wanted some color as to why he left, the response from management was, “Jude was a hardcore airline guy”. And what did we get, a hardcore “Hotel Guy”. Wish we had our desert fox back.

Jude was a gem... But if you think Amazon and their razor thin margins are going to save Sun Country, you're going to be sadly mistaken. There is a reason FED EX, UPS, DHL, and the USPS don't want to ship Amazon stuff.

Not to mention, Amazon will just whipsaw all of the ACMIs against each other until they’re making CFI pay, single pilot, and staying at the Motel 6 in the middle of an 18 day trip. Let us not forget Mesa is flying Amazon 73s too, lol.

UPS ships a lot of Amazon stuff. Up to 26% of their volume is Amazon.

Such a misnomer. If you have a baby it could grow up to seven feet tall. See?

Ok let’s say it’s 20% or even 15%. Doesn’t change the fact that they ship Amazon freight. With percentages that great I believe they do want to ship Amazon freight which is direct contradiction to Justwatchings post.

Agreed. However I think Beretta’s post sums it up better.

ACMI has always been like that and likely always will be.

2019 article:

https://www.freightwaves.com/news/up...for-each-other

UPS said parcels tendered by Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) accounted for 11.6% of its 2019 revenue, which works out to about $8.6 billion from a base of $74 billion. In UPS’s 20-plus years as a public company, no single customer has ever made up such a large percentage of its annual revenue.
